The Holiday Lights Festival is produced by Mayor Jean Stothert and the Downtown Omaha Inc. Foundation, with media sponsors KETV Channel 7 and STAR 104.5, The Christmas Station.
The Festival celebrates its 22nd season in 2021!
It is important now, more than ever, that we celebrate the incredible spirit of this community and spread holiday cheer this season while also helping many of our neighbors who may be facing challenging times. Additionally, like last year, the ongoing construction at the Gene Leahy Mall continues to impact many of our annual traditions. The Mall is slated to be completed by late Spring of 2022. The Holiday Lights Festival will move back once construction is completed.
OLD MARKET LIGHTING DISPLAY
A festive lighting display will enhance the joy and beauty of the season in the Old Market, November 22 through January 3! White lights, garland, and festive decor will illuminate the brick streets of the Old Market and surrounding areas. The display will run from 10th to 13th Streets, and from Harney to Jackson Streets.
NORTH & SOUTH OMAHA LIGHTING DISPLAYS
The North Omaha lighting display will be showcased along a six-block area around 24th and Lake Streets. The South Omaha lighting display will be showcased on 24th Street between L and Q Streets. Both displays will shine brightly from November 20 through January 3.
