Rated 5 out of 5 by Jason Berger from Burris over Vortex I think Vortex has a corner on the market for the quality of optics you get versus the price you pay. That being said I'm overly excited to try these new 10x42 signature binoculars from Burris. When I say Vortex has a corner on the market, I am referring to my area and group of people I recreate and hunt with, if you're not Vortex, you're not doing it "right". Ive hunted with an 1100 dollar set of Vortex Razor binos and wow we're they impressive. But I borrowed those from a very trusting friend, my budget at the time didn't allow me to own a Vortex Razor bino but I reaped their glorious clarity and light absorbsion. I know there are better optics than Vortex Razors, I've used them also. I want to focus on that 1000 dollar ballpark of binoculars. So as I decided to roll the dice on these Burris 10x42 signature binos, against all the advice I heard to "just save up" for Vortex, I am beyond excited to say I could not be happier with my purchase. Out of the box, standard neck strap, carry case with shoulder strap, lens cloth and manual. Super easy to adjust focus properly, great fit and form. They don't feel really lightweight but I'm okay with that. The clarity is every bit of the Vortex Razors. I've glassed first light, dusk to pitch black and they are awesome. I don't know any of the technical aspects of Vortex vs Burris, but what I do know is I paid a third of the price for binoculars that are easily as good as binos that set ya back a grand. Thank you Burris and thank you Optics Planet for a good deal.
