The Schticky washable lint roller has garnered lots of attention since the infomercial first aired about a month ago. It is the latest "miracle product" from Shamwow guy Vince Offer. But does it actually work as described? Will it last a long time?
This Schticky review will offer some information on how well the Schticky washable lint roller works so can have a better idea as to whether this item is for you.
How The Schticky Works
The concept behind the Schticky is actually quite simple and has been used for a number of years. It's basically a sticky roller that picks up unsightly debris such as pet hair, lint, and dust particles. Most people are familiar with the disposable sticky rollers that remove lint from clothing.
The benefit of using the Schticky washable lint roller, however, is that it extra sticky and can be reused several times - according to the company, the Schticky can last forever.
Well, after seeing the infomercial I was very interested in getting this device. As a cat owner, I'm constantly battling the amount of pet hair in my house. And since the price tag for the Schticky is only around $20, I figured it'd be a good investment to purchase it.
My Schticky Review
So how well does the Schticky work in practice?
From my experience, this item actually works quite well. It's surface is sticky enough to pick up even those most minute particles from a surface. For instance, when I rolled it across my couch cushions, it picked up lots of pet hair and particles I didn't even know existed there.
So in terms of effectiveness, the Schticky gets a 10/10.
However, the Schticky is perhaps so effective, it fills up with particles very quickly. This can be a drawback for some people, since it means making extra trips to the sink. In fact, some people claimed that cleaning the Schticky could be a bit of a challenge for that reason.
Well, my quick solution to that (and it really is a no-brainer) is to just bring a bucket with me when I'm cleaning something. That way, I can clean the roller right away without having to making constant trips to the sink.
Is The Schticky Right For You
So this Schticky review has tried to highlight how the Schticky works, including its pros and cons. For the most part, using the Schticky is a positive experience.
Although I was skeptical of the company's claims that it could last "forever", I was reassured by the ten year warranty. That way if anything did go wrong, I knew I could get it replaced free of charge.
