If you're on the lookout for a new CD / MP3 player then you want to get the most bang for your buck, like the best of us. You will probably also want to get your hands on the latest technology whilst also receiving value for money, this is where the JVC KW-XR810 comes in to play. As aforementioned, not only does it offer value for money but also comes packed with features that you would expect to see in the most expensive units on the market.
The JVC KW-XR810 can play CD's, and even play your MP3, WMA and WAV files that are stored on your MP3 player; be it an iPod, iPhone or any other MP3 player you have that connects via USB. The unit comes with front USB ports built-in and can even store up to 20,000 songs on the hard disk, which is pretty cool and certainly not to be expected from a modern day CD / MP3 player - but comes as a nice addition.
This JVC unit has a very sleek and attractive design, however it's not 'too' glitz and glamour and fits in with your car perfectly fine in terms of style, no matter what car you may have. The lights on the unit can be customised to fit with your own cars dashboard colours, as it has thousands of different colours to choose from - it can be a bit of a drag to have a CD / MP3 player that does not blend in with the rest of the car, fortunately this isn't an issue with the JVC KW-XR810.
You have the ability of connecting your phone up to the unit, so you can accept calls and talk to your friends, colleagues and family whilst driving and without doing so illegally. It comes with a microphone which can be well hidden so there's no obvious wires that look tacky or out of place. On top of this the player connects with your phone and downloads the phonebook contacts to be used as you drive, which is very handy.
The navigation is very intuitive and offers a very personalised and exciting experience, something i've not personally had in years from a car audio product. If you receive an SMS or call whilst your phone is connected, the music will be muted and your phone will ring through the speakers - leaving you to accept or reject the call.
This JVC KW-XR810 review will hopefully help you come to a decision on whether or not it's worth your hard earned dollars. My personal issue with the product overall is the remote, which is very small and feels a tad too flimsy, but then again you won't be using this with your JVC KW-XR810 too often as it comes with voice control.
