It is not everyday that you see sporting characteristics and four seats capacity in your sports car. However the RX-8 Mazda model was able to deliver these features all at the same time being a change of tack reconstruction of RX-7. This early RX model was popular because of its efficient performance, handling and sporting feature. It was constructed with light weight and small built plus sheet metal accents to fit its high performance. These though served as the shortcoming of this model. More clients where not happy and felt like they were not able to get their money's worth. That caused its elimination in the auto market by 1995.

The front and rear suspensions of this was made different from that of the previous model. The engine of this model is a result of particular renovations of the known Renesis engine, a 13B twin rotor engine. The model has been assessed in comparison with competitors to really evaluate its features of performance, functionality and price. In looking back at MX-3s brakes and wheel bearing problems were commonplace. Most of the MX-3's parts are used interchangeably on other Mazda cars, so their overall reliability was outstanding as should be expected of the RX-8.
