Music Director : S. Thaman
Starring : Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh,Kriti Kharbanda
Ram Charan's Bruce Lee is probably one of the most awaited films in the recent past. Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, this film was much in news for mega star Chiranjeevi's cameo. After a huge round of promotions, the film is finally out now. Let's see how it is.
Story: -
Karthik (Ram Charan) is a stuntman who loves his family very much and is willing to do something for them. He even sacrificed his education for his sister (Kriti Kharbanda) and done all the right things to help his studies.Twist in the tale arises when her sister is facing undue problems with Jayraj (Sampath) and son Deepak Raj (Arun Vijay). Rest of the story is how Karthi saves his sister and where does this disorder Riya (Rakul Preet) feature in all this set up.
Plus Points: -
First, let's start with the emergence of mega star. The legendary actor is a treat to watch on the big screen. The procedure with ease entry and Chiru credit should go to Sreenu Vaitla for presenting him with a dull manner. His appearance is a treat for all the mega fans as the presence of the Chiru screen is simply amazing.Ram Charan is a major asset for the film. From dances to the fighting, Charan has done a superb job and carries the film on his shoulders. It is exceptionally good in all emotional scenes with Kriti Kharbanda. chemistry with Rakul Charan Preet is superb and the couple look stunning on the screen.Bruce Lee, Rakul has definitely reached the top league. It looks gorgeous, like Riya and worn beautifully. Glamor associated with his funny act is quite decent. Sampath does a decent job in his negative role. Rao Ramesh made a habit of giving again and again superb performance.First half of the film is quite decent and has all the necessary items that will be loved by everyone. Arun Vijay is superb in his negative role and made a lasting impression in his first film. It will be a good asset for Telugu movies if discarded in good roles in bruce lee movie review.
Negative points: -
The tempo of the film decreases significantly in the second half. After the establishment of the film well until interval point Sreenu Vaitla brings his typical comic formula and tries to raise the film. But unfortunately, no comedy episodes click and stretches the film a bit.Senior players such as Nadia and Tisca Chopra have nothing to do in their roles and were underutilized. History of the film becomes quite predictable and too many actors spoil the fun to a certain extent. Narration takes a beating during this time that the procedures are becoming a little slow to the entrance of the mega star.
Technical aspects:-
Thaman's music is an added benefit that all the songs are superb. His background score is also good and elevates the film to a decent level. How all the songs were choreographed looks good and enhances Charan dancer talent. Scenario Sreenu Vaitla is decent in the first half, but behind in the second.camera work is top quality and enhances the film in a beautiful light. How all the songs have been shot needs a special mention. The production values are good and so are the fights. Coming to the Director Sreenu Vaitla, he does a decent job with the first half, but could not tell the second part in an entertaining way. However, he cleverly uses the cameo mega star and ends the film on a positive note.
Verdict:-
Overall, Bruce Lee is an artist of decent family. Ram Charan mature performance, beautiful and elegant first half songs are solid assets. If you manage to attend the second half mean, you will surely love the entrance to the mega star to the end and leave with a smile on your face.
