Finding The Right Pair Of Jeans
Men can have a problem finding jeans to suit them and when they do, there is the additional problem of choosing suitable mens accessories to add that little bit extra. But find a great pair of jeans and you can look like a million dollars.
What type of jeans?
Bootcut, skinny, slim fit, regular or carrot, there are so many choices which can feel like an impossible task at times. What happened to the days when you grabbed the first pair of jeans off the rack or bought a pair from your local supermarket?
Jeans have moved on from the days as a workmanlike garment or something you throw on when taking the dog for a walk. They have evolved into a range of colours and styles to suit all tastes.
Jeans to suit your body shape
Jeans are chosen for reasons of personal taste and lifestyle but it is important to find a pair which suits your body shape especially if you are fashion conscious. A cheap, baggy pair that is fine for doing jobs around the house will not pass muster when out on a Saturday night. So you need to choose a pair which look good, fit well and at a price you can afford.
You will probably have some idea of what is likely to suit your body shape. For example if you have an athletic build then go for skinny or slim fit jeans. But if you are less than svelte then try to choose a relaxed or slouchy pair.
Denim mix and match
The great thing about jeans is that they can be worn with practically anything. You can combine a pair of slim fit black jeans with a shirt and/or tie and suit jacket if the situation requires you to dress up. Alternately, team a pair of skinny jeans with a t-shirt and converse baseball boots for a younger, hip look.
Another popular theme is a denim shirt and jeans combo. This is an Old West, rugged type of look which is uber cool and relaxed. It always puts in an appearance on the catwalk and is worn by both old and young. A truly timeless look.
Black jeans are another popular item of clothing but there are other colours to choose from. Have a look at red, green or blue skinny jeans or stone wash/paint effect jeans which are that little bit different.
