Study Visa - More Laxity in Rules
In order to project Australia as the most attractive destination for higher studies, the immigration department has introduced some serious changes in visa program. The laxity in rule has been brought about on the basis of Australian Study Visa 2011 and its strategic review. The review has been done by the Hon Michael Knight AO. .
According to the changes, visa process has been made simplified for some of the applicants. Also the student visa holders are permitted to work for longer hours and from now on, they can also devote more time to English Language Study. However, the last option is for the school sector visa holders having minimum Assessment Level 3. Removal of Assessment level is subject to submission of evidences for proficiency in English language in support of the visa application claim.
