A research conducted by PLOS suggested that today there are one among five people those who face depression at some point of their lives. Some of them become so much depressed by the failure that they take extreme steps including suicide or other such dangerous steps. Hence, they are often recommended to read such books. The market for such books is growing rapidly.
Even in educational institutions like schools, colleges and universities students are now greatly encouraged reading self help books. Less importance is now given on theoretical knowledge.
