Adidas TOUR360 4.0 golf shoes review
In autumn 2009 Adidas launched its latest shoe, the TOUR360 4.0 Golf Shoe, which is the next shoe on from the ever popular TOUR360 3.0 shoe. This has become the most technologically advanced shoe Adidas has ever made and includes their new THiNTech low-profile technology. This is designed to bring golfers as low to the ground as possible which in turn improves balance, stability, power and aids weight transfer. This low profile approach is aided by their new golf spike which also allows the golfer to be closer to the ground. This lower profile means the golfer has a better and surer contact with the ground and leads to more consistency of ball strike. When you think about it it makes sense that the closer you are to the ground the more stable you will be. If you take this to an extreme think about playing golf in high heels, how stable would you feel in those? Also new to the next-generation TOUR360 4.0 is uni-body construction that connects the heel counter to the outsole to promote a greater level of stability. Obviously stability is only one factor to be considered in Golf Shoes, comfort and how they keep out the water are probably the main things golfers look for. I have not worn these shoes but if they fit as well as their predecessor the Tour360 3.0 then they will undoubtedly be ultra comfortable. They come in two different widths to help you find the perfect fit.
Looks wise Adidas shoes have always delivered and these are no exception with 5 colour schemes on offer so you can get the look you wish. Other features include:*A new redesigned chassis that delivers greater stability.*Silver filament fibres have been woven into the lining to help regulate foot temperature for added comfort.*Extra heel cushioning.*An incorporated sock liner for added comfort and support.*100% waterproof guaranteed. All in all this is a great shoe with every conceivable bit of technology built in to provide comfort and performance. If you are looking for a new pair of golf shoes then you will not go wrong with these. They carry a RRP of 119.99 but have a look at www.golfonline.co.uk and you will be pleasantly surprised at their price which is a lot lower.
