A CFL lamp is rarely available with a dimmer option, which in turn create problem if the dimming function is required. The CFLs cannot sustain changes in temperature often. Hence, if its application requires frequent changes from low to high then the bulb won't last long. If these limitations can be overcome then CFLs are just the option for the dynamic world.
