Just like their domestic counterparts, professional kitchens need to house a range of facilities and cookers and fridge freezers are just two of these.
One new restaurant that has started making use of its cookers and fridge freezers is based in the north-west of England.
Called The Boot Room, it is the new eatery of Liverpool FC and it opened last month. Determined to make a big impression, those behind the restaurant made sure there were plenty of stars at the launch event.
On December 15th, celebrities from the sporting and showbiz worlds mixed with business leaders from the city and enjoyed a spot of dining at the same time.
Among those present were a number of actors from soap opera Hollyoaks and BBC drama Justice. They were all treated to a champagne reception and then they got to sample the culinary skills of the chefs at the eatery by tucking into a three-course meal.
The luxury experience was followed by the chance to watch Liverpool FC versus FC Utrecht in the UEFA Europa League.
Now, the restaurant is open under the Kop part of Anfield and it can cater for 230 covers. It is available to the public everyday when there is no match on and it specialises in grills, stone-baked pizzas and pastas. It also wants to be known for its succulent steaks.
Chris McDowall, who previously worked at Gusto in the Albert Dock, is in charge of the dining spot and he is said to have created a family atmosphere. Children are welcome and there is even an ice cream machine, while youngsters can make their own pizzas with a chef.
